Fernando Alonso may have won the German GP this past weekend, but the attention of many was swayed towards the beautiful lady who was always by his side throughout the weekend.

Born in Vladivostok, Russia, Dasha Kapustina is a 22 year-old model, who was first seen partying with Fernando Alonso on the weekend of the Chinese GP in April. Perhaps it was the love bug which hampered Alonso’s performance that weekend, finishing in a shocking 10th position.

Her resume does seem impressive, having worked for major labels and leading fashion designer such as Karl Lagerfeld.

Fernando Alonso, who announced the end of his five-year marriage to pop star Raquel del Rosario in December last year, was rumoured to be romancing Swiss model Xenia Tchoumitcheva, with pictures of the two smooching making its way onto social media.

But it was Miss Kapustina and not Miss Tchoumitcheva who arrived in Hockenheim with the Ferrari driver. Their apparent nonchalant behaviour while walking past hordes of cameramen and photographers have some suggesting that the couple are ready to make their relationship public.

And if their first hook-up left Fernando Alonso out of the points positioning in Germany, their latest, proved to be Fernando’s lucky charm as he blitz to a win which brought him to the top step of the podium and the race leader board.

So while Ferrari and their fans hope for more love-inspired race wins, some are sarcastically saying that it might be another girl next time.

Fernando Alonso the playboy? Surely not.

But if the Spaniard wants to tie down this Russian beauty, he has a lot of convincing to do.

According to her Facebook account, Dasha is single.

It seems that a little fling, a private drive around the circuit, and a race win is still isn’t enough for the 22 year-old model to declare her love.
