London, Mar 15 (ANI): Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton has revealed that his father does not approve of his new custom- made tattoos on his arm, which he was seen sporting ahead of the Australian Grand Prix, although he added that he does not need his father's approval.

The Mercedes driver admitted that his father Anthony disliked the tattoos, although he did not reveal what his singer girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger thought of them, the Mirror reports.

However, Hamilton said that he did not need his father's approval for his tattoos, adding that he is comfortable and proud being his own person.

Hamilton further said that he does not anyone, even his father, telling him to do things their way, and added that it is not his problem if a person does not accept him for who he is.

Things are changing fundamentally for Lewis Hamilton, who now has a new car, new team, new approach and new era.

Along with his tattoos, Hamilton now has a new 22 million pound candy-red jet and a bulldog puppy called Roscoe. He has also signed up for Mercedes - one of the greatest car manufacturers the world has ever known. (ANI)
